Allison Cooper (she/her)

Allison fights for local climate justice through her work on the 350 Bay Area Mobilizing Team, driven by her East Bay upbringing witnessing the local impacts of climate change and fossil fuel extraction through wildfires, sea level rise and pollution. With experience in direct action, ethnographic research, software product innovation and an MBA, she brings diverse passions for scrappy organizational efficiency and designing actions and strategies for maximum impact. She grew her leadership experience as a student union executive during the 2012 Quebec student strike, and has also worked on electric vehicle fleet support and in the solar industry. Involved in climate activism since high school, she now supports the monthly Power Zap program with 350BA and also loves making art, taking dance classes, spending time on the Bay and engaging with her local community while biking, scooting and walking.
