DESCRIPTION: Learn about what it takes to sponsor a bill\nThe 350 Bay Area Action Legislative team is exploring how we can strengthen our voice and build our political power. Let’s get together and learn about sponsoring a bill in addition to working with what legislators come up with.  What would that entail? Join us on November 19th at 3pm on Zoom to find out. \nWe have invited Gary Lucks to to our Legislative Committee get-together to talk us through “Sponsoring a Bill 101” – including why we might do it\, what it would entail\, and how it’s different from the support and tracking that we currently do. \nRegister here \nEveryone is invited to come and learn about this important approach that could increase the strength of our climate voice in California.  In addition to being an accomplished environmental attorney\, Gary is the author of several environmental policy textbooks\, and has extensive legislative experience to share.
