We are proud to endorse Assemblymember Rebecca Bauer-Kahan for re-election. She has been a strong advocate for climate action since her election in 2018. Bauer-Kahan’s voting record aligns closely with 350 BAA’s priorities to accelerate California’s transition away from fossil fuel dependence, including her support for bills promoting rooftop solar, building electrification, and zero-emission vehicles. She authored and drove through AB 2146, which protects pollinator populations by banning the use of specific pesticides in non-agricultural settings. She chairs the Water, Parks, and Wildlife Committee. Bauer-Kahan regularly convenes an Environmental Roundtable to bring together the district’s community-based climate action groups.
