Join us for an in-depth and accessible conversation about the under-appreciated impacts of methane, refrigerants, and black carbon (mostly soot) and their outsized, near term impacts on warming. Current accounting methods inaccurately account for the severe impacts of these shorter-term pollutants, which results in skewed priorities for action. Linda Brown has been instrumental in developing, promoting, and implementing a new methodology for quantifying the relative impact of different warming pollutants, helping policy makers prioritize different approaches to reduce emissions. Linda is also a long-time member of the 350 Bay Area community and is a local group leader with Napa Climate Now!
