Anne has been a Napa County planning commissioner for 7 years, in addition to a string of appointments on bodies such as the Napa County Land Trust, the Community Wildfire Prevention Plan Core Team, and the steering committee to update St. Helena’s General Plan. She brings her experience to bear with a strong climate platform:

• Reduce greenhouse gas (GHG emissions) from buildings, transportation, and solid waste
• Support continued expansion of rooftop and parking lot solar installations and the development of biochar operations in the county
• Work to maintain healthy watersheds and fire-safe forests and direct resources toward sustainable post-fire tree replanting projects
• Support the County Office of Emergency Services and collaborate with community-based organizations for disaster preparedness.
