As a Petaluma Council Member, D’Lynda is a powerhouse on addressing climate: 

• She championed a gas station moratorium – which passed, and is the country’s first. Through her work as Petaluma’s representative on the Regional Climate Protection Authority, she is working to support similar bans in other US cities.
• She worked to secure the $1 million Cool Cities Challenge award for Petaluma.
• She introduced the city’s climate emergency resolution – which led to the creation of the Climate Action Commission.
• And she has championed efforts toward decarbonization, safe streets for bikes and pedestrians, and gathering spaces to promote car-free mobility.

We know that, as Petaluma Mayor, D’Lynda will keep moving the city, and the state, forward.
