Jamin Pursell understands the importance of a just transition for Richmond and its frontline communities. He supports a Blue-Green Alliance, a collaboration between labor unions and environmental groups to ensure that people who have already borne the brunt of pollution and climate impacts aren’t left behind when the economy goes carbon-free. To that end, he would combine support for renewable energy sources with training and funding for green jobs in clean energy, wildfire mitigation, and toxic site remediation.
