Jenny Kassan has been an environmental champion for many years. During her time on the City Council, she spearheaded Fremont’s adoption of the renewable energy package from East Bay Community Energy, and she has supported road construction and land use policies to support walking, biking, and public transit over private cars. She served on the boards of Local Ecology and Agriculture Fremont and the Post Carbon Institute. 350 believes she will continue to serve Fremont well in advocating for climate action and environmental justice.
