Judy is a grandmother, an avid walker and hiker, proud resident of Oakland and passionate advocate for protecting her beautiful region and state . Judy’s professional life was as consultant to nonprofit service and advocacy organizations, helping them with organizational development, partnership building, fundraising and general problem solving. Eight years ago, feeling growing urgency about the climate crisis she began to volunteer for 350 Bay Area and soon joined the leadership group. She was one of the co-founders and coordinators of the Legislative Committee, and helped create 350 Bay Area Action. She now serves as co-facilitator of the Electoral Accountability Committee, dedicated to demanding the strongest possible leadership on climate from Bay Area elected officials at all levels.
