Building a Better California also is supporting Prop 42. The two ballot measures together have been put on the ballot in response to Prop 40, the one time wealth tax.

For the moment let us say that in addition to the attempt through Props 41 and 42 to nullify the billionaire tax (Prop 40), these billionaire-led ballot initiatives deceptively over-reach and make it harder to raise other revenue often used for social services and transportation, not just now, but through the future. And the legislature cannot amend them.
