Rafael Mandelman has prioritized climate solutions throughout his time on the SF Board of Supervisors. He authored the city’s Climate Emergency Declaration as well as legislation requiring all-electric construction in new buildings. He has also worked closely with environmental justice groups on implementing San Francisco’s Climate Action Plan. 

If re-elected, Mandelman will continue to advance San Francisco’s climate goals through: accelerating building decarbonization, increased EV charging infrastructure, improved public transit, and the expansion of the tree canopy and green spaces in the city.
