While the money isn’t specifically directed to climate action, some funds support climate goals by nature (safe streets are bikeable streets for example), but more importantly, without these funds for basic services and infrastructure, it will be difficult if not impossible to think about deeper goals such as helping Fairfax meet its climate goals and create a sustainable town.
