CA State Assembly District 15: Monica Wilson

As an elected member of the Antioch City Council, Monica Wilson has been actively engaged with the community, successfully spearheading the passage of an ordinance that prohibits oil and gas drilling within the city limits.

Endorsed by California Environmental Voters, Wilson is resolute in pursuing regulations to reduce particulate matter emissions, emphasizing health impacts, particularly in areas near housing, schools, and hospitals.

She stands for:

  • achieving carbon neutrality and net zero emissions by 2035
  • expanding subsidies for purchasing electric vehicles
  • increasing incentives for solar projects (which the California Public Utility Commission just slashed)

Spanning two decades as a community organizer and non-profit manager, she has held positions in the California Democratic Party and on community boards; Monica stands as a seasoned leader poised for further positive impact.
