Berkeley City Council District 3 Candidate Ben Bartlett

350 Bay Area Action endorses Ben Bartlett for re-election to the Berkeley City Council District 3.

Ben is a Berkeley native and an environmental lawyer, and a Berkeley council member for the last eight years. He serves on the Transportation Commission where he worked on EV infrastructure, and as vice-chair of the Zero Waste Commission.

Ben has worked on and supported a wide range of Berkeley’s climate initiatives, from EV charging to building electrification to plastic and styrofoam waste reduction to protected bike lanes.

Ben brings a lens of inclusion for low-income residents and residents of color to his work on the council. He feels that the transitioning off of fossil fuels should place low-income communities at the forefront.

Ben supports the need to electrify new construction, and to help encourage and support residents in electrifying existing buildings.

In his day job, he is an attorney with the California Clean Energy Fund. Please vote for Ben for Berkeley District 3.
