Fairfax Town Council At-Large Candidate Barbara Coler

350 Bay Area Action endorses Barbara Coler for Fairfax Town Council. A scientist with interest in health and environmental protection, she’s been on the council in Fairfax for 11 years and seeks re-election to another term.

On the Council, Barbara supported both the Climate Action Plan adoption and the creation of Fairfax’s Climate Action Committee, which she served on for three years. She worked to increase Marin Clean Energy’s Deep Green (100% renewable energy) resident sign-ups in Fairfax, and supported building electrification for new construction (currently on hold as municipalities seek remedies to the 9th US Circuit Court decision on Berkeley).

On the Climate Action Committee, Barbara worked on water conservation, LED for street lights, and streamlined solar permitting, among other CAP implementations. Barbara has served on the board of Marin Clean Energy for 10 years.

We are excited to see her re-election to the Council to continue her work.
