Fairfax Town Council At-Large Candidate Bruce Ackerman

350 Bay Area Action endorses Bruce Ackerman for Fairfax Town Council. Bruce cut his teeth on the relationships between fossil fuel money, militarism and energy policy and set out to be part of the solution.

He worked on the development of an early form of solar panels and worked for two recycling companies. In Fairfax, first as a planning commissioner, then as a council member, he worked on the Climate Action Plan (CAP) and its implementation, including the use of LED street lights, and Marin Clean Energy’s Deep Green 100% renewables for residents. He’s now working on community microgrids.

Bruce has taken the Environmental Forum of Marin (EFM) Master Class, joined their board, and coordinated the Class’s Energy Days for several years. Bruce is the Council’s liaison to the Fairfax Climate Action Committee and considers the environment and climate to be among his top lifelong priorities. He loves the people of Fairfax and their spirit of community engagement.

Please re-elect Bruce for Town Council!
