350 Bay Area Action endorses Chance Cutrano for Fairfax Town Council. Chance is a current council member who works in his day job as Director of Programs at the  nonprofit Resource Renewal Institute, working on biodiversity, conservation, and restoration of large landscapes. He is a dedicated climate actor.

Chance is supporting development of bike- and walkability, transit-oriented housing, and green spaces. He helped develop Fairfax’s Climate Action Plan and looks forward to implementing further expansion of Marin Clean Energy’s Deep Green option, elimination of single-use plastics from the waste stream, a workable solution to new construction electrification (in light of the limiting mandates of the 9th US Circuit Court’s ruling), and other climate-forward policies. He supports seeking federal and regional funds to upgrade infrastructure without “breaking the bank.”
